lyrics

I know that things aren’t happy in your world
Cuz you left me for some boring other girl
But you can have my sympathy
Cuz she just ain’t as cool as me
No, she’s not me (she is not me)

At last I can go out with all my mates
Yeah, all the ones I know you used to hate
But you can never feel carefree,
Thinking what you had with me
Cuz she’s not me (she is not me)

She’s not me
She can never be
She can never replace me
Can tell by the way
You cannot face me
Now you see
She’s not me (she is not me, she is not me)

And now I see your new love’s wearing thin
Cuz things aren’t quite so good since she moved in
And she must live in purgatory
Knowing you still think of me
Cuz she’s not me (she is not me)

She’s not me
However much you may want her to be
She is not as cool as me
You gave me away foolishly
Now you see
She’s not me (she is not me, she is not me, she is not me)

She may be a match for you
Still she ain’t a patch on me
I’ll get a better catch than you
You weren’t that great actually
Now I see
He’s not me
Cuz he’s not free
He is not me (he is not me, he is not me, he is not me)
