lyrics

You say you cannot love me,
And act like you’re above me
Half the time
I know that someone hurt you
But didn’t they desert you
Cuz you’re mine?
You put my love on trial
I think you’re in denial
Or maybe you don’t love me

But your eyes, your eyes say otherwise
And your smile meanwhile’s not in denial
But your lips, your lips are hypocrites
To dismiss the way they kiss (I say otherwise)

Loving me would be wrong
Does it make you feel strong
To ignore me?
I understand that feeling
But you can’t help revealing
You adore me
Move a little nearer
Love is just a mirror
Yeah maybe you don’t love me

But your eyes and I say otherwise
And your smile meanwhile’s not in denial
But your lips, your lips are hypocrites
To dismiss the way they kiss (I say otherwise)

Or maybe I imagine too much
Could be I’m way of touch
Cuz you say you don’t love me… as such
Well go ahead deny that you want to even try

But your eyes and I say otherwise
And your smile meanwhile’s not in denial
But your lips, your lips are hypocrites
To dismiss the way they kiss (I say otherwise)
The way we kissed (I say otherwise)
